I love your Lilac-A-Day posts! Mackinac Island is one of my favorite places in the world, but I live in Texas now so I’ve only been able to go there 4-5 times in the last 20 years. And lilacs do NOT grow in Texas, so your posts feed my soul. 🤗 My husband and I came to Mackinac 2 years ago and spent a week on the island during the Lilac Festival, and it was just magic. Someday when we are magically wealthy (ha!) I will come all the time. Thanks for sharing the island with all of us!
Even though you don't have lilacs, I bet you've got something else just as lovely (and heat tolerant!)
