The island always looks beautiful under a blanket of snow. I trudged through knee deep snow to get that first picture. It's been so warm this past week that scenes like these are all but gone. I can't believe how much snow we've lost! I won't bore you with pictures of the mud, instead I'll leave you with this scene from last week - before the thaw. Have a great weekend...

Beautiful!
What a beautiful corner of the world you live in! Everything always looks lovely blanketed in snow. Enjoy the last of your winter.
You still have snow??? It is beautiful. Temps are warming up here in Ohio this weekend, makes me yearn for spring. Thanks stopping by & posting a comment.
Blessings,
Kim
Don't forget it's only mid-February. We've had blizzards in March.
Liz, these photographs are just BEAUTIFUL! And I can feel the icy cold even right here in my nice warm office! I have enjoyed being a part of winter on your island!
Beautiful! You must enjoy the peace of these moments when the tourist aren't around.
Beautiful snow photographs, but I'm quite glad our snow has gone now. I need to see green and the snowdrops emerging, everything has its season.
I was thinking you all might still be covered with heavy snow and all...things are pretty funny over here too; a few weeks of unexpected windy and rain-free weather then now humility is rising, it's hot and right now as I'm typing, it's thundering so maybe there will be rain.
Oh my goodness Liz, your photos are beautiful! Makes me pine for snow. We have plenty of rain here, but not cold enough for the fluffy stuff!
