Sick

I mean really sick.
The sickest I think I've been in like, forever.
Been in bed since Friday night,
(hacking, sneezing, enjoying sinuses full of
lovely yellow goo,)
except for the trip to the doctor this morning.
Fell off my bike and hurt my leg on the way there.
Oh crap.
Screaming ear infection.

Nice doctor, fantastic nurse and a
darn good shot of torodol.
Plus prescription antibiotics and decongestant.

The big debate: work tomorrow?
Hubby says no - sternly.
My conscience says yes.

You must take care of yourself FIRST... the kids will still be there when you are well! I know it's never fun to get a substitute, but sometimes necessary! Wishing you well - and soon!

As a parent - no. Sternly. Both for yourself and for the rest of the healthy people at your work and in your classroom.

Take a sick day and stay in bed. Feel better soon.

Just so you know, I am home today. The antibiotics are kicking in and my ear is starting to feel better.
My hubby is thrilled that you all agree with him - and that I finally listened to him. Thank you for all the well wishes!

Obviously Liz's readers are far above average in intelligence. Not only are you reading Liz's blog, but you all agree with ME!

I can report Liz is listening to reason and taking care of herself. She looks and sounds much better.

Thanks for having my back!
