Hand-Me-Down Bliss

Check out what came home with us from Indiana. My cousin had been hoping to find a new home for her sons' (both now college students) trains, and we were lucky enough to have just enough room to cram them into our van for the drive home. Now I have two little conductors who have played with the giant-tub-o-trains every day since we got home. K loves them so much she's actually been sleeping with one of the train cars. Too funny.

I can't believe you've gone without this train set until now! Ours has been in constant use since we got it when Jake was 1.5. I think 4 years is quite a good investment for a toy! Have fun!

what a score...they will have so much fun with this. i wish we had the room for mark to build a track for our trains. even a 4s8 piece of plywood would be a good start. we love ho scale. i do not care for the big scale. with HO you get such detail in our layouts.
yeah...that brocolli was fabulous and i m going to plant a whole lot more next year. still picking berries. just picked another huge bowl which blends down to over a gallon of puree...my freezer is getting full. i need more jars and rings and sugar so i can start making more jam. yummy
i made mark a raspberry pound cake we saw on "everyday itialian" it really turned out great. kind of sunk in the middle, is that cause i used fresh berries vs frozen. he doesnt care...it tastes great!

hand-me-down anything is GREAT... but especially something that you know will be used time and time again!
