Redditgifts Wish List

RedditGifts is holding a Teacher Gift Exchange - how awesome is that. If you're a teacher, you can sign up here. Part of the exchange is including a link to help the "gifter" know what the teacher he or she is giving to needs for his or her classroom. So, here's a list of possibilities for my wonderful RedditGifter:

I thought shopping at Staples might make things easy for you, but please don't feel like you have to shop there. My students and I would really appreciate any of the following items you might like to send our way. And thank you in advance for signing up!

Any of the mini incentive charts similar to these:
Dixon Ticonderoga pencils – they are so much better than the cheap pencils! The leads in the less expensive ones are often just a tad off center, making them a sharpening nightmare. I can use a ton of these!

Hi! Just to let you know, you have not been forgotten. :) Redditgifts just sent me the match email yesterday, so I probably won't be able to ship anything out until the end of this week. If there's anything different you would like to receive because of the delay, just let me know here. Sorry that it's not getting out on time for the start of the school year!

No worries - no rush either. We'll use it all no matter when it arrives. Thank you so much for signing up to help a teacher!

Just thought I'd check back in with you...

My 4th, 5th and 6th graders have settled into our routine and are off to a great start. The 6th graders took their first science test on Friday - on matter, while the 4th and 5th graders have been exploring energy. On Friday they worked on learning how to read a thermometer by exploring the temperatures of different things in the classroom (soil in a plant, room temp water, tap water, the inside of their fist, etc.)

I hope your fall is going well, too.
