As you know, I'm a sucker for flowers. So when I noticed these beauties all lit up by the evening sun, I just couldn't resist.
I'm not sure what these are, but they looked beautiful at the side of the road.

I think those are hepaticas. I’m sure they also have a common name, something like Star of Bethlehem, but it escapes me at the moment.
