I'm Moving to Australia

Today didn't get much better. While I was teaching math this afternoon I noticed the sapphire from a ring my husband gave me was missing. So far, it has been a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad week.

Given that tomorrow is Friday the 13th, I may not get out of bed...

And I'm not really moving to Australia. The past few days have just reminded me of one of my favorite childhood books.

What bad things you've had happening lately. It will get better. I never thought of what you would do with problems like you've had. I just call a repairman and he's there in an hour or so. No waiting on the boats to run to get a replacement. Hope things get better for you.

Better days are coming. The ice will melt and the lilacs will bloom.

Don’t worry about Friday the 13th! It’s just a myth! Those terrible things that happened to you were just a coincidence as everyone has their own unlucky days I must say, including me! However, when you wake up the next day, the sun will be shining and the birds will be chirping. I am also reminded of book titles whenever a fateful incident happens to me and I will retrieve the said book from my self storage to dwell on the moral of the story.
