Yay Liz! I saw in my news feed on Facebook (thank you, 'liking' Michigan's Upper Peninsula) that it full-on snowed on Mackinac, and I immediately thought of you and your post! Santa really came through for you. I think you owe him some fabulous cookies on Christmas Eve. ;)

Yay!!! Us too - it hasn't stopped yet, 5 inches so far - are you getting the bitter cold too?

It is beautiful! A white Christmas, how lovely. We've had snow flurries in my part of Alabama for two days now, which is almost unheard of in December! No accumulation though.....
Enjoy your beautiful scenery and thank you for posting your pics.

Yippee glorious snow!! We got snow here too and biting, nipping-at-your nose wind chills but it's winter - hooray!

can you believe all that snow and the wind. jeez la wheez....
mark was finally able to go out and use the snow thrower. what a mess and then they plowed and he had to dig us out of that.
i finally finished my second pair of socks and i love them. they are out of bamboo and have a really kool sheen to them. i pick up an "ombre" ball of dark green to make my friend diana in so. cal a pair of socks. we wear the same size so shouldnt be too hard. will use the same pattern too. hopefully less zen knitting with this one.
how are the kids. lovin the snow i bet.
check out my blog. i posted stuff i have been working on lately. when i can figure how to get some photos mark took of me to post on there i will. before and afters, the after was taken on sunday. this afternoon before my shower i weighed 199.4. know it sounds like alot but i have lost a little over 110# and have got more to go. i am stoked. that was a big goal that had been eluding me for a couple weeks. downward i will contine. i am wearing size 16!!! jeans from 28 and xl-lg depending on the shirt or sweater from a 4xl. aint it grand.
well, its getting late and mark is going to help me with a project in the morning. take care and hope to hear from you soon. xo susan

I've lurked around some, feeding my yearn to be back home in MI & take my girls up to the island in the summer.

Anyways, I had to comment to say that those pictures are SO beautiful. That bench picture? I would love to have that on a canvas in my foyer in the winter. It is just stunning.

Also? So jealous of all your snow. Even more homesick now!
