Bagels = Yummy

Yet another reason why I love this book...

The bagels are more time consuming than the bread since they have to be boiled first, but they're so worth it. Woe is me if I ever develop diabetes because I'll just about die if I have to lay off the bread and start counting carbs.

Enjoy your weekend!

Hi Liz, I haven't been online much lately but I enjoyed catching up with your blog this morning. I wasn't surprised that your son had a fairy party! I like the shirt, as always. I have the Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a day, but rarely use it, as it takes up too much space in my fridge to have all that wet dough around. I hope you're having a great school year!

i miss fresh bread the most. i can have very dry toast but bread just sits in the tiny stomach like a hard lump...we were warned but i had to try.
i can hallucinate the smell of fresh baked bread. i bake like crazy for mark but dont eat a bit of it...but those bagels look good. i should try and make some, i can always toast them very very crispy :-)

Those sure are yummy looking bagels! Can't remember the last time I had a great bagel! I love the giant "salt" bagels...they taste just like a soft warm pretzel to me! ;)

Hi Liz,
Nice to meet you! I'm not sure how you came across my blog but happy that you did.
I was raised & lived in MI for 40 years. We relocated to SC 16 years ago.
We always love coming to the Island. It is beautiful! How do you manage all winter there?
Enjoy your week!
