Last night we had a gorgeous full moon. It lit up the Grand Hotel so beautifully this morning as I walked to work (at about 6:00) I just couldn't resist taking a few pictures.
By about 7:15, as the moon was setting over St. Ignace, the scene looked more like this. Cold, quiet, and so very peaceful...
There have been so many beautiful photos from the island this week, and yours are two of the most beautiful - two glorius shots, Liz! Miss ya'll!
ReplyDeleteI always love the look of snow on the shore....
ReplyDeleteBeautiful moon shots!
Those are both very beautiful - thanks for sharing with us - Happy Thursday!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful - but oh so cold, lol!
ReplyDeleteLiz, I haven't commented in years, but check back on your blog every few weeks. I LOVE the pics of Mackinac in the winter and am surprised at how little snow it looks as though you have this year. Here in the southern lower peninsula, it's been the same - a very mild winter. Your pics are beautiful and I love checking in every now and then!!
