Bagels = Yummy

Yet another reason why I love this book...

The bagels are more time consuming than the bread since they have to be boiled first, but they're so worth it. Woe is me if I ever develop diabetes because I'll just about die if I have to lay off the bread and start counting carbs.

Enjoy your weekend!

  1. Hi Liz, I haven't been online much lately but I enjoyed catching up with your blog this morning. I wasn't surprised that your son had a fairy party! I like the shirt, as always. I have the Healthy Bread in Five Minutes a day, but rarely use it, as it takes up too much space in my fridge to have all that wet dough around. I hope you're having a great school year!

  2. i miss fresh bread the most. i can have very dry toast but bread just sits in the tiny stomach like a hard lump...we were warned but i had to try.
    i can hallucinate the smell of fresh baked bread. i bake like crazy for mark but dont eat a bit of it...but those bagels look good. i should try and make some, i can always toast them very very crispy :-)

  5. Those sure are yummy looking bagels! Can't remember the last time I had a great bagel! I love the giant "salt" bagels...they taste just like a soft warm pretzel to me! ;)
