For the Love of Chinese

When you live on an island with only three open restaurants (one of which you won't eat at due to an unfortunate food poisoning incident,) there are times you'll do almost anything to get something different for dinner. Like wait down town to meet the boat at 5:00 pm, even though you were done working an hour and a half earlier...

My Chinese food is on that boat...
...I'm giddy with anticipation as they open the hatch......look at those brown bags; I can almost taste the cashew chicken...
Look at that smile... Now I have to ride my bike over a mile (uphill) to get home and I don't even care - because I don't have to cook tonight.
Getting home late; lugging food uphill; it was *so* worth it.

  2. Couldn't see the pics. O ya, it feels good not to cook sometimes - doesn't it. We had Panda Express for dinner tonight (which is kind of Chinese)! Mmmmmm...

  5. I don't know how you make it without Chinese food down the block! Though, to be honest, the best Chinese food I've ever had was in England... And the best Indian... and the best Greek... Well, now I'm hungry:) And thanks for the extra engery, I'll be putting it to use soon!

  13. Oh, my, I didn't realize how much I'd taken delivery for granted! Moving from a large town to a small one was an adjustment as far as restaurants go, but not THIS much of one.

Thanks for stopping by my blog!
