My Christmas cactus is late this year. It's in the same spot it's always been, but for some reason it's just starting to get buds. I'll have to do some research; perhaps it's time to repot or prune.

My Christmas cactus is late this year. It's in the same spot it's always been, but for some reason it's just starting to get buds. I'll have to do some research; perhaps it's time to repot or prune.

Pretty sure you have to prune them every few years. Heard the ferry stopped running, looking forward to hearing tales about ice travel … or not traveling across it.
I'll have to prune because I never have - not once! And I bet I've had that plant for 15 years. As for ice, I doubt we'll get any. Though the boats are running day to day at this point.
