You know it is really darn hot when your husband drops into the kiddie pool after his walk home. If I hadn't been holding my camera I probably would have joined him.I may not be ready for school to start, but I am ready for the cooler temperatures fall will bring.

ReplyDeleteHe's on his way home right now, he and my oldest have been up near Marquette for a week. Said he went up there to escape the heat but it followed him - 90 yesterday and today! Stay cool!

I'm sure it felt good!It makes me think of those old ice tea commercials where people would take the Nestea Plunge into the pools :-) I am so ready for Fall and cooler temps and an end to the awful humidity we have been having - yesterday it was so humid there was fog here.

That is a funny photo and it looks like he has on a life jacket! Oh please tell me it isn't going to be THAT hot there when we come. I've had quite enough of these summer temps/humidity. It's the worst since we've lived here.
ReplyDeleteThe hubby is hilarious! And a smart guy! It's so stinking hot, this morning driving to work at 7:00, it was 89. I'm sure we'll be close to 100 today and maybe a little over with the heat index. Fall - come on!!!!

This warm Summer is amazing. I've been thankful to go to work (the airconditioned work place) on several days! Hope it's a beautiful day on Labor Day. We've been lucky too many years in a row now. I imagine one of these years I'll be walking the Bridge with a rain poncho on.....Hope it's not 2010.
